Big, big shame. Hadn't brought in to the hype of him being a Gold Cup contender, but desperate news all the same.

Difficult to justify the sport you love at times as the horses are the stars but sometimes pay the ultimate price.
Think a bigger problem is how they are 'retired' after reading recent developments due to over-production for the sales that is a bigger tragedy based on human greed (breeders). |

Tend to justify taking part by believing if it wasnt for racing these horses wouldnt exist (be bred) anyway so are given a well fed healthy life. however maybe the greed of the breeders behind the scenes is letting everybody down, especially the horses who are being slaughtered en masse after their racing career is over.
Let's not have crocodile tears let's expose these greedy feckers. |
