If hes not out in the next week or 2 id say Coral Cup. If they are going world hurdle I think they wanted to get a trial run in first.

From DMc Blog on 18/01/11:-
I have given Any Given Day an entry in the World Hurdle today. He has had a very consistent season and been a little unlucky as his handicap mark has crept up 22lbs, (now officially rated 158). This leaves only a few options for Cheltenham and he will be running in the Rendlesham Hurdle at Haydock (16th February). Provided he stays the full 3 miles there, he will then head for the World Hurdle; otherwise, it looks like he will be lumping top weight in a handicap at Cheltenham. |

Cheers doogs. Personally I would rather see him go for the Coral, Im not totally sure that he is a 3miler.
Even of top weight I would be all over him in the Coral. |

You're welcome [;)]
Yeah the Coral is definitely a good option for him, he's a big strong horse who would be more than capable of carrying top weight. Highly unlikely he's going to trouble BB & GC in the WH so the Coral Cup would be a good alternative |

Ive got him in about 20 10 to follow lines but with the view that 2m4f this season would be the making of him. To a certain extent
bar the wins it has. Rhinestone Cowboy should have won the Coral Cup back in 04 of 165 and Im hoping a amark of 158 wont be to much for him. Henry Brooke claims 7lbs and has won and ran a good 4th on the horse behind Menorah this season already. Come on Donald lets get him in the race get the young jock on and lets all steam in lol |

I backed him at 12s for a place on here immediately after he was second to Oscar Whiskey looking like he'd need the extra yardage so would like him to step up in trip but have to sgree he could go well in a handicap with a decent claimer on if that's the way they go.

Forget that, he hated the ground today. Jockey wisely looked after him.
