The bookies must have made more out of this than any other antepost race, do people want to win money or chuck their cash away year on year.

triumph wide open and you only get one crack at it, if i owned him i would go for it.Definitely more to come from him, shaping up into a good race now what with Media being confirmed.

I know Cecil thought a lot of it last year on the flat, thought him group class and his work was very good.....im not a fan of the trainer as i cant read him and his plots...either way he has a future.

No real star among the 3yo's for me. The Haydock race just confirmed that they are all much the same. As Houblon des Obeaux has been beaten several times in France, may be the winner will come from there.

You'd obviously be concerned, but he isnt really bred for a slog being by the breeders cup mile winner by a May HIll 2nd. But im sure he does prefer cut in the ground. Just how much only time will tell really. He won his maiden on quickish ground and recorded a good topspeed figure. After that i dont feel they tested his stamina out enough thats why he went the wring way. They kept trying roughly a mile on reasonable ok ground. If they had tried 14f on good ground im sure hed have stayed on 85 ish and not got sold to us.
If it came up good or on tyhe quick side we prob wouldnt run but only as its only the triumph and its not the be all and end all. Should be nice races next year to be won both over jumps and back on the flat.
