runs tomoz in a hot race against a horse who i think is massively over priced KID CASSIDY my idea of suprerme winner
Report Masterminded February 11, 2011 6:02 PM GMT
Kid Cassidy overpriced but Sprinter Sacre wins the Supreme

I do agree Howdi. No one knows what happened in the fog and the Challow form could be anything. If he beats Kid Cassidy and they think he's better over 2 1/2 it will put him right up there with Bobs Worth and Rock On Ruby. Fwiw though I think Kid Cassidy will win tomorrows race.
Report Alvarado February 11, 2011 7:21 PM GMT
i do to master i just hope the ground not too soft the kid needs good ground i reckon he,ll be too fast for al ferof
Report sintonian February 12, 2011 1:18 AM GMT
I backed Al Ferof for the netpune last week at 20/1 but owner thinks he has the speed for two miles ShockedSad
Report Ballydoyle February 12, 2011 11:29 AM GMT
Al Ferof has no chance in Supreme and John Hales widely known for being a bit silly with his opinions of his own horses. I've backed Al Ferof at 25s for Neptune and think it's a great bet. Will be well suited by the Neptune. I see Nicholls is undecided about his target. Strange, he's said Neptune all bloody season!

I would be pretty confident Kid Cassidy would have beaten Al Ferof today. I'm quite disappointed with Al Ferof he does not jump well enough for me.
Report R Carver February 12, 2011 9:24 PM GMT
Not so sure myself MM. I think Kid Cassidy is far better than his Newbury run the fog, but besides a few jumping frailties and looking very green, Al was quite impressive today without being extended. I dont think he wins a supreme, but might have been hard to beat today getting weight off Kid Cassidy,
Report Can't Catch Me February 13, 2011 1:54 AM GMT
I'd agree with comments regarding the Neptune. Would surely have a better chnace in that race? Cant see him winning a Supreme.
Report sintonian February 15, 2011 2:59 PM GMT
been tipped today by Seagal.

Gutted if they go Supreme route tbh.
Report Ballydoyle February 15, 2011 4:17 PM GMT
If they are saying Cue Card may get swept off his feet in the Supreme then what the hell would happen to Al Ferof? Cue Card just laughed at him last year in the Bumper. Why would he turn the form around nevermind try and mix it with the likes of Sprinter Sacre and Spirit Son?

Put him in the right race - the Neptune.

Al Ferof will be running in the Supreme Novices Hurdle and it's the right decision. Rock On Ruby will run in the Netpune. I'm glad you lot are blowing your money lol
Report Masterminded February 15, 2011 4:27 PM GMT
Mayweather welcome back. Al Ferof won't be winning a Supreme though jumping like he did at Newbury. He's a good horse though.
Report Alvarado February 15, 2011 4:29 PM GMT
running them both in the wrong races rock on ruby was outstayed last time and al ferof stays all day
Report brandyontherocks February 15, 2011 4:34 PM GMT
i don't think rock on ruby was outstayed, more like out sprinted.

the race was run at a very slow pace. they was in a heap at the top of the hill and then the race turned into a sprint to the line.
Report Masterminded February 15, 2011 4:41 PM GMT
Just beaten by a better horse. I think he's quick and he stays.
Report sintonian February 15, 2011 4:44 PM GMT

I am the best tipster on here. I know a lot of people on here could not tip a snooker cue but that's not my fault. I am the best of many a year.
Report Alvarado February 16, 2011 2:54 PM GMT
yeah agree ye know all that money u made from that double kauto star/brampour on king george day must be able to retire from that windfall
Report Gashboy13 February 17, 2011 12:12 AM GMT
Looks like a horse who is going to struggle to jump well in a race like the Supreme at a pace. Looked very sticky at Newbury with no other horse around him. But I guess PFN could sort him out if anyone.
Report Ballydoyle February 20, 2011 10:07 PM GMT
its looking like he's gonna finish 5th or 6th in supreme rather than go for the obvious neptune target
Report BJG February 21, 2011 2:04 PM GMT
Cannot believe this and Zaidpour are  running in the SN - beggars belief imo
Report sintonian February 21, 2011 3:03 PM GMT
agreed. I can see wy they'd run Z tbh, but Al Ferof baffles me.
Report Gashboy13 February 21, 2011 3:18 PM GMT
I will just end up annoyed if this wins the Supreme.
Report Mayweather February 21, 2011 3:29 PM GMT
I did tell people last week Nicholls was taking this Al Ferof to the Supreme Novices Hurdle rather than the Neptune Investment Novices Hurdle.

They all screwed their noses up but its the right thing to do, he's won his last two races and they will stick to two miles for now and make a lot fo use of him in the Supreme.

There's a lotta lotta egg covered faces in this thread.

Well done! Mayweather

The mooto has to be back em in both because second guessing these trainers is more difficult than picking winners.

Did me a lot of favours NOT! I backed Spirit Son and Finian's Rainbow both beaten by horses who I thought would go elsewhere.Cry

Now I'm scatching my head wondering why on earth is Nicky running Mad Max in the QMCC when he looked to have a very good chance in a race later in the week.

Surely not another one?
