Ran well at Wetherby on Saturday and now heads for the 4m novice chase at Cheltenham with Sam Waley-Cohen booked to ride. The horse seems rejuvenated by the switch to James Ewart and could run a big race at the Festival.

If it's trained by James Ewart and is rated 127 it's got no chance.  The trainer himself will tell you all the horses trained North of Lambourn are rated 20lbs too high - so Captain Americo is really a 107 horse.  Odd that he entered him really?

As 'Getting Your Excuses In First' that about takes the biscuit.

Needs to take some 'Man Up' pills and stop whingeing.

Sam Waley Cohen would be in high demand for this race.  Ewart must've been persuasive to get him to commit to take the ride on Captain Americo.

Have they completely done away with the penalty system in the 4m NH chase. Looks like horses with graded chase wins will run off equal weights to rest
