Kumbeshwar could alo be interesting. Only rated 82 but won his last three races so might be a lot better than that.

Managed to find the winner for today but couldn't have it on my mind for the Triumph. 10/1 on here was very generous, proably much longer in running.

lm sure dan and koo would be delighted if their "selling plater" were to win the triumph. |

I think most are looking for something that isn't there. Personally don't know how anyone can back a triumph horse before it runs. I backed A Media Luz for the race after her first run as she was a big price and although she couldn't settle one thing she does do is hurdle very quickly. I see she is more likely to go for Fred Winter now which is one of the problems backing juveniles antepost. It's a guessing game. I don't think you can knock Grandoet who has improved in every run and I think Sam Winner and Smad Place will run good races as well.

Strictly on the form book, Grandouet should probably be a lot shorter as he is clearly improving with every run unlike many of the others. Think he can turn around form with Sam Winner (who may not even show up) and the rest have not put a run of wins together (other than Local Hero).
However, I just have a niggling feeling than Grandouet may be a flat tracker and am not sure he is going to relish the hill in the way a triumph winner should. Think the two I am most keen on at the moment are Smad Place (subject to him being given the all clear) and Third Intention, who beat a couple of decent types at Newbury and was too keen at Cheltenham lto but stayed on well considering. All depends what comes out of the Kempton juvenile race though (Adonis?).... |

Won well, but not sure how good the form was. The McCain horse didn't jump at all and pulled up.
