With Nicholls having MM and WF, I can see your point but only suitable race at Aintree would be the Melling Chase and I would imagine that with his speed and running style, there would be major doubts about him staying the extra trip.

Think the ground will be the key decider, if good, he'll hopefully be allowed to take his chance.

Interesting runner but would want to see him in the Game Spirit ideally as the form of his Cheltenham run hasn't really worked out.

Cannot see him staying the aintree trip in a hot race but agree that the ground is seemingly key.

Has had a terrible prep for a Champ chase. I could not back it with any1s £. Shame as if the ground came up good I would really fancy him with a decent prep. Pulled it's muscles this week and although that's a small problem it just shows lack of fitness to me.

Nicholls says its still on target for champ.ch,and has always says goes well fresh.

Planning a racecourse gallop but his lack of chasing experience is a big worry in the race that probably demands more accurate jumping that any other in the season.
