Stan go 3/1 until 12pm today.

Doesn't look good to me, especially as they wanted more experience. I feel that an interuption for a novice chaser is a big negative.

Liked the Wisepr1ce peace today that basically said he would have had his gonads on Rupert if he was anywhere near Jessie's Dream price but was taking Jessie's as he was so impressive in beating Mikael D'Haguenet in a Grade 1 when Mikael was cantering all over him. Mikael however is no good or rather he means I'm fecked if I'm going to take one of Mullins there is more chance of Henry VIII riding the winner than picking which of his will run. Loved how he used a single formline to praise one horse and slam another...nice.

I would be concerned normally about a novice having an interrupted prep, but Time For Rupert is such a beast I think as long as he's schooled plenty there's nothing can stop him. Hugely developed horse.

Am I the only person who thinks his price is ridiculous?

To me JETCROWITS time for rupert dont need the experience he proven him self around chel more than others, he act on the course and goin. looks a nutural jumping fences to me. webber knows how good he entering him Argento Chase and gold cup. ok the set back is not ideal bt it was no worse than me u you getting a cold. he had almost 7 weeks to get over it. its nt even man flu last that long!!! lol
His price aint RIDICULOUS at all...... best rated hrd in the race, course form reading 12211, FESTIVIAL FORM, Proven on the ground, his first time out run working out to be very strong as the have been 6 wins **** out of the field of the 10 runners. 1 winning a grade 2 at cheltenham hell bays. and this was over his wrong trip. GASHBOUY wat more wud cud he of done??? :) |

Rymattock,
I agree with all you say and there is no doubting the talent. All I am saying is that for a novice to have an interrupted prep is not ideal. If he shows his true form he should go close, but I am afraid the word if has got a little bit too big for my liking at such a short price. |

By:
On a line through Chicago Grey his price does look short.
|

I think his run behind Big Bucks is overhyped, nothing hes beaten this year strikes me as being top class, I don't think Medermit was at his best behind Hells Bay and I will take him on with either Jessies Dream or Mikhael depending on which shows up.

I think he should be Even money for the race; in fact I think he will be come the day! He last 5 runs have all come at Cheltenham, and his form figures read 12211...find me form to match that and i'll consider his price to be wrong!
If you take him on you're in effect taking 4/9 about the field...looking through the field im much more inclined to take the 9/4 about him alone! |
|
By:
Neil D HELLS BAY seems to b involved with lots of top classs form this year. TFR first run...... 10 WINNERS HAVE **** OUT OF THE RACE!!!
|
|
By:
cannot see this being beat
|
|
By:
with you gashboy tfr s price is too short ,seen it all before, short prices hyped up in novice chases at festival quickest way to the poor house .may win but price too short .

What honestly is the difference in losing a tenner on a 9/4 shot and losing a tenner on an 8/1 shot!? Price is reflective of his chance, if you fancy him back him, if you don't then don't, but don't say his price is wrong because it isn't, and if no one was interested at the current price it'd be bigger by now, so clearly many people disagree!!

im a huge fan but this race is brutal and 5-2 looks very short. cheltenham form a huge plus though
