Phew, thanks for replying and putting my nerves at ease. Why do so many people just make stuff up in horse racing it really ticks me off at times. i'm sure some people just sit at home and think..."what crap can i come up with today"?

Moose moran was a bit of a dog on the flat. be interesting if he has changed his attitiude for the new discipline.
By:
talk was that it would go for the Adonis Hurdle at Kempton on Racing Post Chase day first, though they seem to be having second thoughts about that as he's got enough experience now and dont want to take the edge of him

Sorry, how was Moose Moran a dog on the flat? I think you'll find that the 3rd behind Monterosso was the 2nd fastest time ever recorded over 10f at Newmarket, and beaten 5l by subsequent Hampton Court winner is not muleish. He has a very similar profile to Detroit City when he came off the the flat. At the beginning of the season NH was making noises about this and as ever has given him a little time. 33/1 will not be available tomorrow night, it will either be 10/1 or 100/1 ;-) assuming Ludlow is on that is. But imo more likely 10/1. I have a feeling he knows this is better than Grandouet...

Dog maybe too strong, but he a slightly strange head carridge. However ive watched all his races back and that might be simply the going being too firm. Although tomefirm still say his temperment is under suspicion so it wasnt just me who marked as a possible future twicer. They say that abot Palomar that i have though who runs his heart out with a poor head carridge so anything like that isnt foolproof.
The time was good, but it was reported that there was a strong tailwind that day. Indeed on the speed ratings ive seen the time wasnt that remarkable indeed on sets of figures i use its not his best figure and on the other one its marginally the best. It might have a similar profile to Detriot City but another one it has a profile like, is Donegal. Indeed of the 3, Donegal is the only one to have won that 3yo listed race they all ran in at HQ. In all MM has alot to do to becomes stable no.1 tomorrow if it goes ahead. |

palomar as raving nutcase always was used to travel great and find nil
moose is a quality flat horse about 4st better than a current truimph hurdle fancy who won a seller plus nicky henderson only wins the truimph hudle with a grey nowdays and what colour is MM u guessed it GREY |
By:
agree Gashboy13... i think he could be the best NH has juveniles-wise

I have a feeling that he is the type of animal who is going to benefit massively from beign gelded. Cecil said very positive things, and so did NH in his stable tour. Given him plenty of time to come to himself. Would have prefered to get a run into him now, but Adonis looks likely now. It is also possible that 2 miles in the QV just stretched him on the flat. Perhaps a mile and a half would have been more his thing. And taking Alvorado's point - The Triumph is crying out for something with a bit of class to stamp himself on the market.

''plus nicky henderson only wins the truimph hudle with a grey nowdays and what colour is MM u guessed it GREY ''
Now i see (having just replied to another thread)...Alvarado's on the wind-up....we dont need this on the Ante-Post forum's mate...stick to main Horse Racing if you're just here to take the pi$$. |

im not taking the piss what colours zaynar ? how about soldatino ?
By:
Moose moran is sadly grey / roan so not offically the same colour as zaynar and Soldatino who are classed as pure grey.
Therefore the henderson pure grey stats say Moose Moran cant win as hes never won the triumph with a grey/roan horse, NEVER. |
By:
but hes grey
By:
the majority of him is grey so he still qualifes
have u found another seller marsh warbler yet |
By:
yes, frightened of moose moran though so might miss the race tbh
By:
moose moran 5th in aquuens vase 4th in a listed race if marsh warbler started now he wouldnt finish where moose did
southwell your track |

flattering form in flat races run slowly isnt a good indication of class.
On speed figures Moose Moran has ran 3-4lb faster than Marsh Warbler in its career. Usingt timeform or the racing post's speed figures. Moose Moran has ability and could be anhything, but to keep referring to mine as a plater when we;ve won a G1 is a pathetic. If we could have a match race with MM over 1m6f on soft ground off current handicap marks. Id back mine at 4's on |
