Abbott - is it really only 2 years ago since you took the first tentative, fretful steps to organising one of these? Now look at you - sponsored by a betting exchange and a Malt Whisky firm, household names on the panel and still at an extremely reasonable price.
Very well done sir. |

I know time flies, the first year I was on here 2 months before the festival asking if anybody thought it was a good idea. This will be the 4th year now, it was a rocky road at first but been really good the last 2 years and everybody seems to have a great night, which for me is the most important thing. |

Cheers Guys
Fabulous, if your close it will be worth the trip, that said we have people who make the trip from Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Ayr and Edinburgh so even if your far it will be worth your trip. For the guys traveling that bit further Ive secured a discount on the local hotel across the road from the venue, for details drop me a mail. |

Very close by abbot, so work permitting, I'll probably be there.

Abbott - Coming through from Fife - can I pay on the night?
By:
you can mate but I would check in a week before just to make sure it doesnt sell out.

i was there last year, travelled up from dundee during the day and stayed overnight and went to ayr on the saturday. The preview itself was well run and fantastic value for money. The panel were open and honest and lucinda gave us a tip for ayr the next day which duly won. Abbott does a terrific job organising this and a big well done to you for once again securing such a great line up.

abbott was you at the match yesterday ?
By:
Hi mate no, I was ment to be going to Muss racing yesterday but woke up to rain coming down sideways so decided a day at the pub
watching the game. That was by far the best game Ive seen in ages, I really think that we are playing our best football in years and will be surprised if we dont run over the top of them in the next game. |
By:
it was a great performance, the reason i asked was i thought i saw you on the tv.
By:
Hopefully in all three games :) I am hoping to make your preview Paul but it is a long way and then driving to the Festival on Monday it's a lot of travel. Will call you if I need tickets but not certain yet.

By:
Jimnast - according to Ayr's website last race is 5.40pm ! Going as well (to both) so it will be a mad dash to Hamilton !
By:
Morning doogs, jimnast. Will you be driving or getting the train down?
By:
Morning - we'll be driving
By:
Too complicated to get from Ayr to Hamilton if you're not driving !!!
By:
LOL, should be about an hour from door to door at that time I would say.
By the way doogs I droped you and email, that hotel wasnt bokked out. The manager wasnt impressed with whoever told you that. Jimnast if you havnt booked your hotel for ayr yet and fancy coming down there is a nice small hotel right next to the Preview Night. Might be worth while staying there and heading back up on Saturday. |
By:
It'll be a bit of a rush but we'll get there !
Don't worry about it - Holiday Inn cheaper and like a true Aberdonian that'll do for me ![]() Will check my email, cheers |
