Given that trainer was so keen to have KG reopened, why is the reigning champion not running on Sat in Argento or somewhere pre. Cheltenham?

Would have been worth a crack at the rescheduled King George given the prize on offer and recovery time before gold cup.

Fair enough, really wrap the horses up these days. I recall Dawn Run and See More Business etc running in the then Pillar Property as prep for festival.
Agree Captain. I was just thinking the other day about Quevega, an amazing hore who is going for his 3rd Cheltenham win this year but as an owner no matter how good your horse is surely you would want him/hr to race more than that.
