Is not a top class stayer regardless of what they are trying to make him.

agree with eric, i would drop him back to 2m. His 3rd in the Champion Hurdle last season wasnt to bad for a 2nd season..

not a 3miler,never thought he would be,just looks now, to me, to be a below top class horse at 2-2m4

hes at least 2st better than hes shown so far this season u can tell that with karabak beating him twice when zaynar on natural ability is diffrent gear to him

He's looked to me on his last 3 runs as though he's not in love with the game any more.

headgear on as a four year old speaks volumes imo, never been in love with the game!

world hurdle sureley??
By:
Zaynar
When: 23 Jan 11 21:44
Not sure but I would imagine it'll take 3-4 weeks before he is close to a run so could be straight to cheltenham with him in what race I wouldn't be sure. Personally looks to me like he isn't going to stay 3m and he has hardly run badly over 2m so I would look for a 2m race somewhere.

why not back in the champion if the op works?

Thats what I would do but I have a feeling that Kicky is determind to run him in the world hurdle.

Can't see how he turns the form around from last year unless he was under par after that kelso slog

I was a backer of zaynar untill they decided to run him at Kelso for me that finished him for the season. It may have actually done some lasting damage either way if hes back to his best he doesnt have much to find with bino on last year.
For what its worth if Oscar Whisky is done for speed at Foss Las Oscar may go to the World hurdle and Zaynar may go 2m

i think they went to the well too much with him if he was mine to the champion fresh he has a place in him

Can't see it myself ultra competitive this year with a lot of speed horses think he would get murdered. Suspect mr henderson may be thinking 2m 4f at aintree

tbf he only ever looked half interested even when he was at the top of his game. He is probably one of those horses who is 'too clever'.
