Cool What else would he run in after this? Is there a decent race about 3-4 weeks after this? Not sure he'd go straight to Supreme just off the back of a maiden hurdle win would he?

Great news. I was getting nervous over my anti-post vouchers on this one. Apparantly he was coughing after his last run, which may explain his finishing effort, probably giving him time to recover.

Will be interesting to see how Frascati Park gets on today.

aye, main bet for me is Supreme at 25's. Stuck some quids on him for the Ballymore at silly prices which would actually give me a better return. Looking forward to his run.

Supreme, the way he pulled/travelled suggests the fast run 2 mile will suit him well.

came back from ascot coughing, that is correct and they were stunned it ran so well over further then 2 miles whilst not right....wrapped up over the xmas/snowy period and is  well now and back in work....runs this week and the aim is the supreme novice if he makes cheltenham....if its not right for the horse and a rushed prep will be saved for aintree.....either way he he is highly rated and very classy.

intresting i know they think the world of him hes got 3 entires this week any idea where he runs.

i know henderson has got some really smart novices but he was meant to be there best one at the start of season

Anthony Bromley in The Weekender yesterday, asked to give readers a horse to follow this season:

"Sprinter Sacre is a lovely horse belonging to Caroline Mould. He is all set to run and I know he has been pleasing Nicky. He looks very nice."

Well he would know I guess, can't wait to see him run, need to see it on the track mind.

he had 3 entires this week and has been pulled out of all of them and dosent go to donny tommorow hes entered at hereford on sun but u do not want to see it run there on bottomless ground and its not a track he tends to run his best ones at
By:
the istabraq years
When: 27 Jan 11 13:26
yea, i dont understand what there thinking concerning his entries...donny over 2 miles on id guess decent ground, find it hard to understand why they ll pull him and go to hereford which will be a bog over 2m 4f !!! my guess is he wont go there either.

When: 27 Jan 11 17:33
yeah but they thought  he was moderate dident they i remember henderson saying he just wanted to win a race with burton over fences then he improved

It was in a bumper and a novice hurdle. His first 2 runs for the yard. Heavily backed both times.

Seems they thought something of him.

By:

what the fu ck  are u going on about burton port is a very good horse i have never doubted that i repeated what henderson has sed numerous times that the horse has surprised them big time they thought he was jus an average chaser no more where as SS is meant to be one of there best horses

anyways dosent run at hereford now GOOD means they still like him loads
By:

When: 28 Jan 11 16:18
You asked when Henderson last ran a good horse at Hereford.

I told you.

You then proceeded to tell me he was thought to be moderate.

I questioned that.

You then tell me that you never doubted Burton Port was a very good horse.

You're very good.

what about KID CASSIDY very intresting horse and massively over priced he too is entered at ffos las on sat he trounced tornado bob at newbury first time up by 15l and hes won twice since and then last time out wen beaten fav he was beaten by rock on ruby but he had to give him7lb and he pulled really hard in the race and found the ground too soft he remains a very exciting horse i think

When: 31 Jan 11 17:47
Yep I would agree with that Alvarado. I don't know what they are going to do with them all really. He has soo many good novices.
By:
Alvarado
When: 31 Jan 11 20:23
glad smeone agrees with me regarding kid cassidy but backing this hendeson horses in the novice races are a lottery hes got so many to chose from and despite the likes of bobs worth/minella class winning the big races so far apparently sprinter sacre is top of the pecking order and has been all season long
By:
Paul4
When: 31 Jan 11 20:45
remember mick fitz saying that nadiya de la vega and sprinter sacre were definitely ones to follow from the henderson yard having watched them at home (the former was also mentioned by paul nicholls/anthony bromley) cant wait to see sprinter sacre back out!

Thanks Grade One.
I'm excited again.

When: 31 Jan 11 21:04
mick fitz could stop anything hes a bigger bock than gayweather so i hope he dosent tip this one up he cant tip himself out of a wheelbarrow
By:

When: 31 Jan 11 21:19
think there's a difference in tipping a horse to win a certain race (varying opposition etc) to recognising a class animal when seeing one, would imagine someone of fitz's elk would be decent enough when it comes to that
