It isn't the most salubrious of places around the station (depending which side you are) but it is a 15 min walk to and from Montpellier and there is plenty of transport available being near the station. The Midland Hotel is by no means the worst dive in Chelt, TGI Fridays (if thats your thing) is up the road, and the boozers at Montpellier will be full of "normal" racing folk.
abbottIt depends what do you want from your stay.It isn't the most salubrious of places around the station (depending which side you are) but it is a 15 min walk to and from Montpellier and there is plenty of transport available being near the statio
Think Ive been spiled the last few years as Ive been 5 min walk to the course and 15mins to the town. Would prefer something up that side of town again so will hold out with my fingers crossed.

If you are on the "nice" side of the station, it is pretty up-market.

atayed in a house beside the station last year, really nice, walk into the city centre in the morning clears your head, long walk about 15-25 mins depends on your hangover
