its getting close to cheltenham now only 8 weeks, any views on the big four races, my fancies are as follows

champion hurdle - dunguib value at 20's for champion hurdle!

queen mother champ chase- im rather back captain cee bee ew at 16's than playt with master minded at 2's,  lumped on last year and get fingers burnt

world hurdle- got to look outside of big bucks- yeh he proberly will win but just think there are better ew horses in the race,  my bet is grand crus at 16's think represents good ew value hoping big bucks maybe might not run his race

gold cup- my fanchy is kauto star absolute value at 12's, if he jumps and get in a rhythm this horse will be there 2 out, forgiven for yday run didnt get in 2 rhythm this horses race can usually forseen after 3 fences

What a waste of £30 that was! Do you work for the treasury by any chance!?

I don't think there is any value in the Champion Hurdle this year. Should be a very good race, but not one to get heavily involved in for me! Binocular, Menorah, Hurricane Fly and Peddlers cross could all win, but the odds on reward for picking which one are poor!

Think you will find out Sunday how much chance Dunguib has,and dont think you will like what you see!!

Think myself Solwhit, Hurricane and Voler will finish in front of Dunguib then what price for Chelts? just my opinion of course at Chelts they all have to beat Peddlers reguardless if Solwhit slams Hurricane or vice versa, depending on what way you look at the race.

if the ground come up good, binouclar will be the horse to beat, any thing wiv soft id want 2 side wiv h fly and dunguib

Claisse will aim for Good to Soft on day one, so if he mucks up and it chucks it down immediately beforehand it could be a rousing start for the Irish (though Binocular didn't look too dopey or softish ground on Saturday)

think that binocular, big bucks, big zeb and imperial commander all have huuuuge chances of regaining imo. but value-wise i would go silviniaco conti, mourad, woolcombe folly and pride of dulcote

At 25/1 im quite keen on Silviniaco conti in a very true run 2 miles

I feel sorry for Dunguib; he's going to be so over hyped in every race and retire being considered a let down!

how about 40s on here brooksielad? clearly wasnt fully prepped for the bula, was thrown in after surprising even the trainer, and didnt look half as good as at chepstow or ascot. will be in prime condition come march, hopefully stable will be firing about then, gave menorah 4lb last time and was certainly not disgraced

40's will be about a win, and that's a lot to ask!

there was £4 @ 8/1 and £3 @ 6/1 for place....£3 @ 43/1 and £10 @ 41/1 for the win, great value imo (obv may not be enough depending on how much someone wanted to back for the place) stick the £20 on and get back £57 if in first 3, about £610 back if wins.... £10 e/w at the 25/1 returns about £70 for place (abit more) but only £330 for the win (alot less)
