This horse has been a rather disappointing. He was running a big race when takingquite a bad fall At Cheltenham 2 out. That day he looked very green almost running out and he was runing over the wrong trip of 2 miles, Personally I still think he had won the races because the way the rest on the field finished bt will will never know L. Yeah I bkd him!!!!
The winner that day was another Henderson horse. Prince on pirates which has good form in the book beating the likes of bobs worth in a bumper before running in a bumper at the curragh I know Henderson think a lot of he he was 1 of his trainer picks.
Al ferof has already winning form over 3 miles in his point. On all types on ground. Really think the step up will suit. I’ve noticed he’s been entered at Newbury this week again over 2m3??????

This horse has been very impressive winning easy on every occasion. First time winning his a strong bumper by 4 length beat Nicene creed . His most impressive victory was in the fog when Last time winning the Grade 1 Challow hrd by 8 lengths and that was only on his 3rd run. So think we can say this horse is smart. Jojo has also won this race in the past 6 years. Bt the its still a chance he cud go for the 2m5 Neptune’s. bt a note of caution all 11 last Challow hrd winner have been beaten at the festival when running in the neptunes. that’s Reve De Sivola, Diamon harry and even the tank Denman he got beat in the 3mile rsa hrd nt 2m5.

Has been very impressive up 2date and I’ve read the Emma think he could be a gold cup horse in the making. His win at Warwick over 2m5 cud nt on been more convincing beating the likes of neptunes equester ,Mossley, Safran De Cotte. The further they went the further he drew clear so the step up in trip will suit. The worry come Cheltenham could be the ground as all his winning has been done with plenty of cut. Although his ran 2nd behind backspin was on good/solf. Cant really say much about that race because of the fog.

I like this horse a lot not just because I bkd him last time that he already got form at the course and over the trip. + The fact that Keightley is targeting this race pretty much alone I think. His bumper form isn’t as strong as the likes of backspin(117) and Al ferof (134). I think his rating was 116. His hurdle form is starting to work out, winning over Course and distance in nov by 7 length over sybarite.
After 2day that form looks usefully, sybarite fiished 2nd to yes another Henderson’s horse Chalais beat only 1 length. So champion could well be worth following come march.
Mossey joe 8-y-o
Sire: Moscow Society (USA) (11.4f) Dam: Delmiano (IRE) Dam's sire: Henbit (USA) (10.3f)
Second foal; dam showed nothing in three points, half-sister to fair hurdlers Nickel Sun (up to 2m4f) and Half The Pot (up to 2m6f) and fair staying chaser King´s Whisper
Don’t know a great deal bout this horse he won both of his 2 point by 10 and 20 lengths, then winning a hunters chase by 11L to go win his novice hrd by 9L. Then he was throw in the deep end in Grade 2 hrd over 3 miles he finished 7tgh on that run. That run can b forgiven really taking on the like of proven stayers and jumpes moured and shinrock paddy. Act on alll types of ground winning on Hvy/good. decent e/w chance!
CONCLUTION:
Backspin has been the most impressive wining the challow by 8 bt he still might go for neptunes and ive got that trend on my mind bout challow winners. But he’s improving all the time. Jojo and McCoy have a good record in this race to winning it twice.
Emma’s court in motion needed the run in the challow last time. She was not been able to get work in2 him because of the bad weather. Emma’s form hasn’t been great at recent but court in motion won doing handstand and the step up will suit. I think Mossley didn’t really hand the deep ground at Warwick and the festival ground will suit him more.
Mossley win at Cheltenham looked to b a fairly decent races, he need to brush up his jumping abit. That day Barry was almost abit to confident on him. The positives is that he won on the track and over the trip to me looks to be a safe bet.
My main fancy is Al ferof he has got to be the far the best bumper horse in the race. Best rated 134. Ffinishing 2nd in the champion bumper.
We All alll know how strong festival form is. Looking at the betting he is the only horse that has been place at the festival. Yeah I know most of the field didn’t run at the last festival bt festival form counts for something. The horse that he beat in the champion bumper is Monster Megestar supreme on the cards, carpincho couldn’t have him beat al ferof , made in time stuffed him twice.
I see minella stars has been quoted now. Al ferfof has already beat this 2 over 3 miles on soft/ hvy going when he was a 4 y-o that was by 2 length. Also Minella star might b goin for 2m5. Personally think Henderson will run him over the 3miles because he now got Chablais or prince of Pirates for 2m5 …… I guess???
I don’t know why Nicholls ran he fist time out at chel over 2mile and don’t understand why he entered at newbury this wk over 2m3. Really want to see him entered over 3 miles **** on paul!!!

Storming Gale was impressive on his first outing for Donald McCain jnr. I understand that he runs at Carlisle on Monday.
I hate getting sucked in ante post but 33's is freely available and I think that price will be at least halved after the Carlisle race. Ladds are only 20's. I've had my first Cheltenham bet. Hugh Taylor gave the horse a positive mention in one of his previews |

The betting market for this race is messy but at least we know it's Court in Motion's target. He put in a special performance last time, even more impressive than Inglis Drever in the same race when he was a novice and that effort wasn't bad. Inglis ended up second at the Festival that year to flash in the pan Fundamentalist, but Albert was only just planting his first Roosters back then and Inglis might have preferred the longer trip if the staying novice race had existed, mightn't he?

as long as court in motion gets his ground he going to take the world of beating in AB.Im on at 14/1 to a win only bet and hopeful of a big race tmrw setting it up for cheltenham.also if he was trained by nicholls/henderson what price would he be?

kk....On Storming Gale too, at around 33's. Really liked him at Ffos Llas, and hoping things go according to plan on Monday. Think he's got a great chance for this at Cheltenham.

 Though't he'd bolt up today. Has HJ found a replacement for Inglis Drever or was something wrong? He looked well enough but you now have to wonder if he'll get up the hill at the distance. Haydock form doesn't necessarily translate to Cheltenham but that's probably clutching at straws. |
