In my opinion LONG RUN..... won well, beat Riverside Theatre 12l. Look at the bare form, ignore Kauto the race would be listed. Betting would have LR at evs, RT 7/2, Nacarat 9/2 yhe rest 9/1 bar.... RT is a 158 horse and prob ran right up to that mark exactly but was well back when the race quickenend, Nac led all the way prob done too much and doesnt stay 3m good e/w bet for the Ryanair @33/1

suppose it does but rules a couple out of the Gold Cup. Looks a very poor race to me and i think Imp Comm should be bout 2/1! the 4/1 from 365 looks huge to me!!!!

in short i think long run is still a long way behind a Gold cup winner. At 7/1 id love to be a bookie laying this horse, should not be a shorter price than Denman or Diamond Harry! I'd be showing 11/4 Imperial Comm
                                                                           7/1  Denman
                                                                           8/1  Diamond Harry
                                                                           8/1  Long Run
                                                                           10/1 Kauto Star
                                                                           16/1 bar......

But you can lay Long Run that is what exchanges are for. I can't buy this is going to be a weak Gold Cup. The next few years with the horses coming through looks the most competitive it's been for years. OK Denman and Kauto are getting older and there looks to be nothing that will replace them for a long time but you have to remember these are horses that don't come along very often. Imperial Commander does look the one to beat but he's certainly not bomb proof IMO.

The 7/1 Long Run for the Gold Cup is way to short. You are completly right there.
