trainer said is doing well after breathing op and working towards getting it ready for festival

thank you (although that word 'festival' is thoroughly disconcerting as I weigh up the huge 80's on offer for GC!)

dont quote me on that, not sure if 100% said festival, may have major spring racces, i cant remember (or where i read it) but sounded like aim was to get back ASAP and i have taken the longer odds as think with benefit of the op he'd still have a chance in the gold cup

Has entries in Gold Cup and Ryanair - trainer quoted in RP on Thurs as saying Gold Cup was 'just an entry' but ideally would like to get a race into him before the Festival.

20/1 with b365 for william Hill Trophy, rated 150 atm he would squeeze into that, although i do think he may miss Chelts an go for the Totesport Bowl perhaps at Aintree, trainer sends alot there and he has a good record there.

This horse has been mustard at Cheltenham. Why on earth wouldn't he go there?

just because he's been out of action with the hobday op - only back in full training a couple of weeks and therefore a bit of a rush to get him there.
Trainer did say on ATR recently that there were 'plenty of nice races' which made me think he might bypass the Festival but this week's bulletin was more encouraging. Would like to see him go for Gold Cup myself (yes, I've backed him) because I think he'll stay fine - can't read too much into his Hennessy run due to the op that followed. |

If you rule out the Hennessy run (and personally I can easily do that as I didn't fancy him for that race anyway) then he is looking like some serious value.
