Cheltenham Festival

Me and a few mates are thinking about staying 2 nights in bristol for this years festival, staying on the thursday and friday anyone have any info on staying in bristol, hotels, nightlife, is it too far away or anything else of interest would be much appreciated.

You could pick up a Travel Inn in the centre or the holiday inn express close to the train station night life is fine its realy what you make it we have stayed there a few times for the festival and the train takes about 50 mins to Cheltenham although it is fairly busy so best get an early train
