hope not, I don't know if he went up at all for his challow run, but he was on a very lenient mark, and had him earmarked as one for the coral cup.

Even if he has gone up 1 or 2lb then 137 would be a cracking mark for the Coral Cup. I think he's a serious animal. His run behind Gran Crus has worked out so well. I'm trying to work out the Neptune, but you're probably right, the Coral Cup is going to look very attractive now.

Ok ok - I see he is only in the 3 mile novice and I want to take 20/1. Is he going for this or the Coral Cup?! I'm tempted to email Nick Williams myself...

Yes I agree, but I actually think he has a better chance in the 3 mile novice - Coral Cup will be harder to win imo, despite running off 135. 3 miles =, half decent ground - SMASH!

I thought he would have an entry in both the 2m5f and 3m novice races at the festival especially as he has no form under rules at further than 2m5f

I don't see why he won't stay 3 miles - he is bred to.

He won a point over 3m on heavy ground as a 4 year old so i wouldn't see the trip as a problem either

he point win gives some encouragement but they are notoriously slowly run so I never put too much store by them. I'm not saying he won't stay 3m just that I have doubts particularly as he travels so strongly in his races.
