About 10 of us travelling down and have left it a little late to book anywhere so we were thinking of pitching a couple oftents and camping for a couple of days. Also if we do this and decide to head home after Wednesday racing then we wont lose too much money rather than booking a hotel for the week.
Anybody know of anywhere within 5 miles preferrably cheers.

We drove past the course last year, and there was a field with half a dozen tents in and a couple of portaloos, so I think they allow camping. Looking from the stands to where the helicopters park, it was to the left of that, just off the main road.

Thanks rhinestone I'll look into it. Camping obviously isnt ideal but I dont really want to pay £300 for a week in a hotel and be skint after 2 days !

With ten of you if you are prepared to travel 10-15 miles each day its more cost effective to rent a house (or two separate houses) than get a hotel.

Think we may have left it a little late for that PP. Also may want to come home after a couple of days if we have done our dough.

£300 a week ,dream on you,ll be looking at 300 a night at this stage ,unless rooms become available on here , with people dropping out
