Big chance for the RSA or too early to say.  Thinking of a plunge.

agree there doesnt look much to beat, but could have lost to mr thriller at cheltenham if hadnt fallen and received 5lb from 2nd place horse (although was only over 2m4f) and then won very easily but didnt really beat anything of note next time at cheltenham... mikael d'haguenet looked impressive til falling last week, could be very dangerous if goes rsa route

Thanks for your views.  I was at Chelt and was very impressed.  I do think there were good class animals in the race.  A grey, whose name escapes me, looked like it would have given Wayward Prince a very hard race at the PP meeting before falling two out However he  was well held by Rupert.  I know a few people who think the world of Wayward, so the form for Chelt looks o.k to me.

Having said this I have no handle on the Irish form and I know Michael is well regarded. But it has fallen and that is a worry for any novice I look at at this stage.

Not Mikael think he will be Arkle bound.

Thanks Yeast.  He impressed me at the PP.  But like Mikeal, fell as it was about to count.  That's why I went for Rup.  While Chicago was cruising in behind the leaders when he fell, Rupert had his jock scrubbing three furlongs out. As far as I can remember the 80 year old bear never touched a twig.

i do agree Iris, i would say rupert has a cracking chance (and i have bet chicago grey in all 3 races at cheltenham this season and has run very well in all 3) just dont think rupert is nailed on quite yet (altho it is in most of my a/p accas) good luck if u do take a plunge :)

Chicago Grey is going for the 4 miler and 10-1 seems a very fair price to

Is the four miler for novices?  Seems a big ask for a promising baby if not!
