Imperial Commander
Won the betfair on his reappearance, NTD said picked up a niggly injury whiched ruled him out of King George and now heads straight to the festival. Target - Gold Cup

Diamond Harry
Won Hennessy. Is best fresh so is being held until the Festival. Target - Gold Cup

Cue Card
Trainer could not hide his disappointment when could only finish 2nd to Menorah in the Bula. That's it now until March
Target- Supreme Novice, any talk of Champion hurdle is folly

Quevega
Will not reappear until the Festival. Target - Mares Hurdle(Outside chance could be redirected to Champion Hurdle if Hurrican Fly doesn't make it)

Anyone know of anymore less obvious ones?

If this arctic like weather conditions continue, you will find this list getting bigger.

I'd say connections to most of the above are feeling less than clever now

Hmm, an enlightening thread. Btw, Hobbs, Nicholls, Pipe & Henderson each have a shocking record with horses that have been rested for 3 months before the festival. Twiston-Davies, Tizzard & J Howard Johnson can be added to that list, albeit more generally at this time of the year, not just the festival. It's worth bearing in mind before lumping on a saved-for-Cheltenham hot-pot.

It's one of the reasons why I'll be opposing Imperial Commander tomorrow.
