Cheltenham on new years day would be nice!
More likely Newbury on 29th or is that still the proposed date for the Long walk? |
By:
Sandown most likely imo.
By:
long walk was newbury last year seems logical. Won't they want to run the KG at Kempton?
By:
Would it be realistic to re-schedule an entire meeting?
I for one am still hopefull that they will race for at least one of the two days. |
By:
Presumably just run it at kempton at first opportunity ?
By:
2 weeks best racing of the year going to be descimated here.
By:
Could do with a bit more global warming right now!!

Doesn't Kempton have another jumps meeting scheduled mid January? They usually hold a meeting on the second or third weekend of the month.
If they have to abandon on the 26/27th, I hope they can keep the rescheduled race to Kempton some how. Bad enough running the Grand National at Gatwick. |

They will surly keep it at Kempton in january. Especially given the history that is possibly about to take place.
By:
Cant they do an Ireland and reschedule it if needed?
By:
Will be at Kempton whatever imo. Although if they do have to go anywhere i'd guess the new years day meeting at Cheltenham could come into play.
By:
why did it go to sandown that year, anyone remember?
if its the date, then i can see them doing the same again, should'nt matter that much anyway imo |
By:
exactly albundy just reschedule it every other day until u can race what they do in ireland is first class just look at the meeting they got last wednesday superb.but our country are sh it more intrested in making ap mccoy sporty

Man that was some card for a tenner last wednesday.

By:
agreed yet we have to pay 16 quid for a class 6 card and people wonder why racing is in a terrible way
the people at racing for change think big number clothes are the answer and recking tradition and moving the champuon stks these people know fu ck ing nothing about racing and dont care about racing yet are getting paid loads of money its a joke cut entrance fees charge 2-3 quid the places wil be packed they will spend more on betting and drinking/eating and will continue to come back |

Celtic Son nutter alert. I honestly think you have a serious problem too much anger dude

tbf, the Irish have more blank days to start with to play with.
I think that the Sandown King George, that week or so was very cold and hardly anything was on - perhaps it couldve been run at Catterick but that was never gonna happen! [;)] |
By:
not really howdi its the truth everyone knows it i love racing and hate seeing it ran into the ground
By:
if it carries on like this racing will be fnished in another 5 years
By:
alvarado, two things that might calm you down - one you probably don't know, one you probably do.
1) HRI holds it's own purse strings so can do what it wants when it wants, unlike GB racing - which has to deal with the Levy Board. 2) Irish fixture list has more holes than a colander so you can pick up and drop meetings, pretty much at will, into free slots. GB racing, as you may have noticed, doesn't have that luxury. Will eat my laptop if the KG goes to Cheltenham or Newbury anyway. Both 50/1 shots. Either rescheduled at Kempton or goes to Sandown. |

Does a thread exist on this forum that isn't polluted with Alvarado's complete and utter tripe?
Please point me in the direction if there is, ta. |

Mr Mischief
Rules vary from Bookie to Bookie. I have had my bet with Hills, and their rules state that ante post bets stand if the race is ran at Kempton on a later date. However bets are void if the re-arranged race is ran at a different venue. |

Tnx hemsby. I took Hills 6/1 for Imperial Comm W/O Kauto Star so wouldn't be too perturbed if they had to move it
