Haydock for CH trial be nice - I can go and see him and we'd have another form benchmark with Peddlers Cross.

Maybe Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton might suit if they need to run.

Needs to be a level weights trial no point bottoming the horse a few weeks before the biggest race in the horses life by making him him hog a heavy weight in the most competitive handicap hurdle of the year.

no way not haydock the ground there is always dreadful the kingwell maybe but whats the point keep him fresh and go straight there.there is no need to run him in one of those 5runner heavy ground messy races just before the champio hes proved hes a worthy contender aim him straight there

Like the idea of a pipe opener in around 6 weeks time but nothing more strenuous than that to knock the edge off him.

Example of that last year was Henderson running Zaynar in the Morebattle at Kelso for 10k just before Chelt on bottomless ground off 11-10 and getting turned over off Quwetwo at 1/14 on...would have been better going for AW gallop instead.

Agree 3132 ... Binocular nicked his original declared trial so Zaynar was redirected to a race which didnt exactly hone his speed and may not have knocked him back a little.

..may have knocked him back a little.

Not sure what hobbs would think of sending him over to ireland for the AIG. Would fit in nicely i suppose.

Kirk didnt realise that Kelso race would knock Zaynar 9 months back.
Menorah 85% to go direct to Champion |

Wrong ... I complained on here re Binocular nicking Zaynar's declared trial for the Festival. He needed a run however Kelso was not the perfect trial for him as I said at the time Sandown was. Zaynar is not a stayer as I said last season which you did say and was clearly wrong about having seen him this season.
