Howdi, can you post updates throughout the week please? Need to know whether to cancel my accommodation. I do not think i could handle another weekend (day!) without racing.
Report Beryl December 5, 2010 12:18 PM GMT
Weather forecast on the BBC a few minutes ago was much better. Talking about a thaw setting in from Thursday with temperatures well above freezing - 6 or 7 degrees.
Very hopeful now, going both Friday and Saturday - can't wait as it's my birthday as well!

windsor - food was excellent I'll write a report in the official food thread when I get a minute.

Today has been very, very cold.

If its like this on Friday we have no chance but the countryfile weekly outlook suggested its gunna get warmer on Friday and Saturday.

mr eboue , sorry just seen your post .glad the food was good, they just put us on a rubbish table despite booking ages in advance  . years ago i remember going to 12 suffolk parade and that being good . also a small pseudo french bistro type place , in a cellar poss, which was quite funny .used to like the atmosphere in the mayflower , really buzzing , but told it is best its sell by now .toying with staying over sat. eve .where do you suggest ?....
Report Mr Eboue December 9, 2010 8:06 PM GMT
The daffodil was very impressive and to be honest everybody who I've spoke with have felt the same.

http://www.quoakle.com/gloucestershire/restaurants/

Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is very comfortable.

It's a 2 minute walk from the top of the promenade.

But to be honest there's at least half a dozen restaurants within a few hundred yards of the Daffodil ( a couple of very good indians ).....

Prezzo is good aswell ( the one in the brewery by the cinema. the one on the promenade is a bit dodgy) Very nice pasta dishes and their pizzas are good.
