i would have had a big one on if he was evens cos hes almost unbeatable i think. the only horse that has a squeek is punchestowns. i wont be taking the 4/6 only because i see it as money tied up and to make it worth while it would have to be a biggie. if i had a few quid lyin around though id have it on before id put it in a savings account

he could beat himself I suppose. But you had to say 9/9 now he is fast becoming one to totally trust. If he remains unbeaten this season you are looking at one if not the best staying hurdler of all time.
By:
What price would he be on the day? Backing 4/6 now is madness imo when you don't even know what he is up against.
By:
be 1/3 on the day id say
By:
what would worry you masterminded?
By:
he returned 4/6 last year.
By:
all depends what turns up i suppose. wouldnt be worried about competition but the best price possible. id take evens on here sooner than 4/6 nrnb cos hurdlers dont get injured often
By:
I thought he'd be 1/3 this year, but the bookies played up their winnings with all the hotpots going down, so who knows...
By:
Big Bucks rated 159 after 1/1/09 win , his 21st start . Grand Crus now 158 , his seventh start and two years younger with no obvious quirks.
Funnier things have happened. |

Howdi nothing would worry me now. But who am I to know if there's a future star shut away in a stable somewhere. I would rather back on the day. Will surely touch 4/6 on the day.
By:
Can't see much competition emerging and more than likely he will win again.
That being said, I don't think the idea of backing him now is getting a better price as I can't see him being much shorter on the day. It's just a case of using it as a kind of savings account, using winnings and putting it on him rather than withdrawing it. If the race was tomorrow and he was 4/6 against that field I'd imagine a lot on here would be all in. |
By:
surely if it dont get injured it wins?..66%intrest!!
By:
I've taken 4/5 NRNB on credit so there is no immediate outlay

dunguib, master minded and kauto star were all certainties on the eve of last years cheltenham festival and they were all beaten fair and square. bookmakers wouldn't exist if the outcome of horse races were so predictable. even dancing brave was beaten and he was the best horse i have seen. even money now 4 months before the race is crazy imo.
