One standout bet as far as I can see - Go Native @ 25/1.
By:
No point in this sort of thing. The only horse I would have been interested nrnb at the festival would have been cue card yet they have now stuck him in at 12s for the champion hurdle.
By:
got to drum up some business, weathers gonna hit em for six this week
By:
12s with a run is a cracking price about Cue Card.
By:
Is it on all cheltenham races or just the champion hurdle?
By:
Four championship races and King George
By:
They are noticeably short on a lot of the runners in the four markets. Wonder if the other bookies will follow them, which may just ruin the markets a bit.
By:
Anyone on here who cares about antepost value on here should not welcome this development.
All we are seeing here is a day of race market where the value will be decimated as the bookmakers will tighten the margins right up as people think they will get their money back without a run. However what your average punter wont take into account is the current form of your horse at the current price will not necessarily be the value you get on the day in its later form. We need antepost markets to stay as they are or the value will be squeezed out by bookmakers and that will be that ... bye bye antepost. |
By:
In fact this could be the beginning of the end of antepost if they get high demand.
By:
I've taken some of the 25's Go Native, nothing else really interests me.
By:
The skill will be taken out of it and the value you are rewarded with if you get it right removed also. Dont be fooled by this Xmas present as the prices will end up day of race in time if it catches on.
By:
If Cue Card goes for the Champion Hurdle then he would surely be a single figure price, if he doesnt then you get your money back. A fair bet imo.
By:
kauto Star (King George)
Big Bucks (World Hurdle) Double. [;)] |
By:
Also took some of the 25's about Go Native. Unbelievably good bet NRNB imo.
Will be campaigned differently so he peaks in March. And went off fav last year. Previous Supreme winner. If he runs he'll be single figures worst case imo. Had already backed him anyway. To get NRNB is fantastic. |
By:
Bhudda think it may be singles only?
By:
Silviniaco conti 9/1 if he beats menorah in the bula would go about 6s 5s i suppose, if he don't i expect he will miss the champion and go to aintree. Although is it worth the bet now for the sake of a few points might violently drift on the day hmmmm.
By:
Can't seriously be singles only can it ? There's no link to terms and conditions
By:
I've emailed them to check but no word as yet.
Will let you's know when I hear from them. |
By:
did a mock bet online and it stated that the double was also in the nrnb market fwiw
By:
i work for them and yes you can have multiples

I missed the 12's on cue card and thought it was a great bet. 9's now and I'm thinking f777 it! This could, more than likely won't, but could be 11/4 on the day and gag up so do I take the 9's now or hope he gets beaten between now and then. For the record I think Silviniaco Conti will beat him if they meet but you never can tell. So, thoughts? take the 9's or sit and suffer?
I think I still have to take the 9's. I like the horse anyway and we could do with a seethestars of the jumps world. thoughts please? ![]() |

Hi I took 10/1 yesterday about Cue Card NRNB, a bit frustrating having seen 12s and taken an age to make my decision. Can't see any downside to taking 9s mate, there are two scenarios IMO:
1. He hacks up in the Bula, get targeted at the CH, and gets sent off 11/4 on the day and we all have the debate about novices racing against the experience pros. Obviously he COULD hack up in the Bula, then get injured, but you would get your money back. Sweet. 2. His bubble is burst in the Bula by a horse like Kyber Kim and he is targeted at the Supreme. You get the money back for the CH bet, and back him on the day for the supreme at 5/1 and get your festival off to a great start. Win/Win. |
By:
^ Agree with most of this Pret - there doesn't seem to be much of a downside, but I don't think you'd be getting 5/1 for the Supreme as a result of him getting beaten in the Bula!
By:
if he wins the bula i still think he won't be 11/4 on ch hdle day.
he'll have beaten s conti in all but name, still a novice, and menorah who's greatwood form is not looking fantastic at the moment. at chelt he'll have binocular, peddlers,k kim,and any irish to contend with.so maybe 9/2 or so on the day. personally i've had trouble splitting c card and silviniaco for bula. c card receives 4lb,but i feel s conti form superior although that's over 2 miles.of corse menorah is not out of it by any means, just not value at 13/8. |
By:
Haha of course not! I'm desperate to get the winner of the Supreme this year after spending last winter backing Dunguib antepost.

By:
What if CC doesn't win or even run that well in the bula but they still aim him for the champion ?
9's wouldn't be great then |
By:
what price are they on big bucks?
By:
4/6
By:
balls. id take loads of evens if it was there but not a hope at that price. tyin up good money!
By:
Did a mug E/W treble on Kauto Star (KG)/Big Bucks (WH)/Imperial Commander (GC).
Win part pays 18/1, and the place part still pays 2/1. Very hard to see any of them out of the top 3 if they make their respective races. |
By:
id say hard to see 1st too beat and hard to see last 1 outside of 1st 3. good un id say
