A quintet of horses have got Paul particularly excited at the beginning of the season...
Rangitoto Impressive winner of his only point to point in Ireland. Is one of a number from this sphere who are at the same stage Denman was five years ago. Will start off in novice hurdles in November, possibly over 2m4f. Empire Levant A big strong grey who won three races on the Flat in France in the spring. Loves jumping and may start off over hurdles at the Hennessy meeting. Domtaline Had one run over hurdles in France, when third in a race at Auteuil that historically throws up a lot of winners. Could be out this month. San Remo Bello Won his only start over hurdles in France. An obvious future chaser, but he will kept over hurdles this season, and will be ready to run in October/November. Silviniaco Conti By Dom Alco, sire of Neptune Collonges. Won both his hurdles in France. May have won more run over hurdles before going chasing. Exciting horse who will make a great chaser one day. |
