presume winter includes March?DOLATULO won his sole start over hurdles in France, and thanks to a
new rule introduced this season, he is allowed to take his place in juvenile
events, despite winning in March - the rule means that any horse winning in
France as a 3-y-o in February, March or April can run in juvenile contests
during our winter.
Soon afforded a lengthy lead, he was never in any danger
and sauntered home to a ridiculously easy success. He beat very little judged
on their previous form but will surely be stepped up in grade next time.
Pause Switch to Standard View DOLATULO - can he run in Triumph?

Mike the rule is that all our 3yo Hurdles and 4yo Hurdles are now restricted on the basis of age rather than "Novice" Status.

It was rather silly having the Triumph as a "Novices" race when all UK horses are novices and it only really precluded the ex-French horses.

Would love to see a proper program for 4 and 5yo Chasers over here too but doesn't looking like that will happen.
