'Finian's Rainbow is 20/1 for both the Arkle and the Jewson at Cheltenham....back him for both, because whichever one he ends up in he'll be around a 3 or 4/1 shot on the day'

Err, yes....but how big is that 'if', do you reckon? Fav in Jewson last 6 yrs 8/1, 6/1, 15/2, 13/2, 9/2 and 7/2

Jewson sponsor the new race alright.

The old Jewson is still in place but is now a rubbish race for 0-140 rated novice chasers and forms the next step in completely devaluing the festival.

So long as the championship races keep their status, I don't see why a few extra races devalue anything. Would the King George be devalued by having a maiden hurdle on the same card?
