"Captain Chris anyday"!? . . . On what basis exactly HYPE??
Cue Card won the festival bumper in a canter, even with the 5lb penalty in the plate. That was a very warm contest, with a fair few fancied horses from both sides of the Irish sea. He does not look short of gears to me, one would imagine Captain Chris will take in the Persian war, however. |

i hope they run against eachother. captain chris is currently a top class hurdler, cue card a top class bumper horse which is the sae as a flat stayer. rite of passage won the gold cup, but hurdle at thetop level he could not

A top class bumper horse is very different from a flat stayer imo.
Rite Of Passage is flat bred, which may explain why he was found slightly wanting over hurdles at the very top level. Whereby, Cue Card has a smashing jumping pedigree and is very much bred for the job. |

Winning a Class 2 Novice Hurdle for 8k does not count as being "top class".
Hope this helps. |
|
By:
if they did face each other it would take an outstanding performance from cue card to beat a 146 rated horse first time up over the hurdles
|

Is Captain Chris running in consecutive days?
