Does anyone have any news on how well he has summered? And what are his likely aims prior to Cheltenham. I'm hoping that whatever was wrong last year is now history and he will be the Binocular from Cheltenham again, but there is always a chance that was a one off performance

They were baffled he didnt win CH the year before,nowt to be baffled about now.He has now done what a lot of us thought he would,and imo will carry that on.

He could've been a three time champion hurdler by now and would be if he'd have gone for the C.H instead of the supreme in '08 imo.

Not sur about that,but he really should have 2.Different class to Punjabi.Thats what had Henderson bemused.Could still win 3 if injuries stay away.

Fascinating that Henderson mentions that pre Cheltenham/post Irish holiday lightning schooling session again in his stable tour. Think ground, trip, track etc. complete misnomers when looking at last year's defeats. Surely there must be every chance this is the year he goes imperial and is undefeated on his way to a second Champion.3s could look generous after Newcastle.

Looking forward to Newcastle now as I believe Peddlers Cross will be there too so we will see the two most likliest winners of the CH clash. Excellent!

agree flying, should be terrific. i would imagine mccain will have his horse more forward too, because he needs to know whether his horse is a champion horse early on (to determine which way they go if he is beaten and decide he is not a champion horse) whereas NJH knows Binocular is a CH horse. mouth watering.
