At what stage will he be declared back on course for the Arkle?

Schooling to improve and introduction early February to his first novice chase  a la Well Chief? after the money goes down.

RP RACE REVIEW

'Get Me Out Of Here, touted as a possible Champion Hurdle contender by many, was 15lb higher than when winning last season´s Totesport Trophy and should have been perfectly capable of winning off this mark, but he never got close tothe leaders, McCoy very much looking after the 6-y-o with an eye on the future. He´ll no doubt leave this form behind, although obviously needs to, with the Greatwood the next possible stop.'

he was keen early, he also jumped a little big at a couple on occasions, probably thought he was jumping the fences at home, mccoy wasn't hard on him that's true, but he landed flat footed at a few too and didn't tank himself into the race under his own steam like you would imagine he would

mccoy could have got him closer but he would have had to have given him quite a hard ride to do it and wouldn't have won even if he did, the winner is highly thought of and getting all that weight today was entitled to win the race.

there was a point in the race where they closed up 4 from home, an on song gmooh would have then been able to carry on with the leaders without too much help from the jock....today he couldn't and mccoy realized that and let him be.

If the RP said "...should have been perfectly capable of winning off this mark" then why is their RPR on him only 151!! Were they expecting all the others in the race to run below their handicap marks?

And people pay £7.50 per month (or whatever it is" for that insightful comment.

Personally I struggle to give him 145 and if he is to win the Greatwood he would need to produce around 160.

LOL look at AP on this horse in the Tote Gold Trophy and then watch him today. Disgraceful.
I'm not asking him to be beat about but they are racing. It does not matter if its a seller or the champion hurdle if you are in a race you should give the horse every chance to win.
Seeing top class horses ridden like this really is depressing. Went to Ascot today just to see him run and you get that as a spectacle. If racing has got to change anything this is it.

i didnt think mccoy was under par today to be honest because i thought a mccoy on weed wouldve got that lad home in front. id say that jonjo has decided to blow out the cobwebs in an effort to make him ready for a handicap whilst not damaging his mark. what this would say to me is that connections obviously dont think hes capable of winning a g1 bcos if they did then he should be able to win a hcap off a high mark. id lay him for all big race contests at the cham festival if he was any sort of small price

Its not even a question of Mccoy trying to win the race. He was not ridden to achieve his best possible finishing posistion.

I know that he was keen early but he could have finished alot closer than he did, if he"d been asked for any sort of effort.
