know hes being aimed at king george and was talking to connection last year who sais McCoy said (after he got off after the queen mother) the horse would win the ryanair next year and advised them to go to melling chase which he said it would win, ironically it finished 2nd behind McCoy on Albertas Run

Not a 3miler in my book, 2m 5f round Chelt might even be stretching.

I thought he was a cert e/w bet for this years queen mother but McCoy knows alot more thn me and you put together! Regardless I think he will be the best each way bet of the meeting wherever he turns up because he will go off 6/1+ whatever race and I will be betting him

Agree with you there, and horses do stay trips better the older they get. I'm with you I'll be backing whichever race he goes for, even last year he was a great ew price in most of his races, in the tingle creek,he just ran up against Twist Magic at his fav track.

He's not eligible for the same race at Down royal - it's open to 2nd season novices only. Think he's due to run in November at Punchestown, then he goes to the King George.

Forpady due to run Cheltenham over 2 miles on sunday, ground permitting, maybe keeping him on thw Queen Mother route afterall. Thankfully IMO.[smiley:crazy]

I also want him to stay over 2m this year as well, but trainer doesn't seem to think so.  Don't see why him and Sizing Europe are swerving the Champion Chase for the King Eorge when I think the Champion Chase would be easier!

Forpady is 24's on here for Champion Chase when only 10's with the bookies.  That to me says a run in the QM is highly unlikely.

Cooper said: "Forpadydeplasterer is going to Cheltenham on Sunday. He had a good summer off, all has gone well with him since he came back and I am very happy with him.

"This is a nice race to start him off in. He goes there without a penalty and he has always run well at Cheltenham. Good to soft ground will be fine for him.

"The plan this year is to step him up to three miles, so after this we will go to Kempton with him for the King George at Christmas."
