Will she stick to this race again or will they try another race , has won so easily the last 2 years , id go for 3 in a row !! anyone heard where shes being aimed ?

Seems to be the plan again...only other option is the World Hurdle but she looks a near penalty kick for the Mares Hurdle.

Willie has a few decent mares in the division (think Tarla and Morning Supreme) so they might be tempted by stepping up to 3m, there's only one horse outside of her in with a chance in the World Hurdle and there's a possibility he'll be over fences by then anyway.

Morning Supreme is going novice chasing. Tarla will be aimed at the DN mares races. Willie said that the DN mares race would be 'on her agenda again' for Quevega, although she will be given a few different Cheltenham entries, so we can't be sure where she is going.

Wouldnt be surprised if shes campaigned lightly again with the DN in mind...the way shes won the last 2 years if she turns up in that form she'd take all the beating again.

Our Girl Salley has the David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham in March as her next target, after her easy victory at Leopardstown last week.

The Prunella Dobbs-trained six-year-old dismissed a high class field at Listed level and will now step up in class.

A decent bumper horse,winning three races and second twice, Our Girl Salley was only having her second run over hurdles at Leopardstown.

“She’s a lovely mare. We’re going to keep her in mares’ races for the time being; there’s a couple coming up,” said Dobbs.

“Then we’re going to look at the big mares’ race in Cheltenham, the David Nicholson. We’ll take it step by step. That run, for just her second over hurdles, was spectacular. The fact we hadn’t been able to school her because of the weather made it even sweeter. There are a good few mares on the other side of the water, but Quevega would still have to be the one to beat, having won it twice already. I’ve got 10 horses. I like to keep my numbers down and give them lots of attention. We’ve had a wonderful year as Our Gar won at the Punchestown Festival and Our Girl Salley won at the Fairyhouse Festival.”
