I'm going to wait until their careers are over before buying a book on them. Though I'd be interested in knowing if this one is any good.

Agreed CV. Kauto Star especially deserves an author of the stature of Ivor Herbert who wrote the great biography of Arkle, The Story of a Champion, in 1966.
Nothing less will do, but I've no idea who has the gravitas to write such a book today. Any nominations? |

Really have no idea who should write it. But to follow his career, from its origins in a shed in france to serene brilliance of that fourth king george. It's an amazing story and should be an equally good read. Has any horse had such longevity? Won his first Tingle Creek in 2005, hopefully he'll win a king george in 2010.

Yeah, really shows how the greats have that longevity, that the spark never dies.

Don't know Jonathan's writing style but he does spend a lot of time at Ditcheat and knows the horses well.
