anyone witness this,probably about,1990s,he told a piggott joke that got booed.

it was in the period of transition,before lap dancing was king.

most famous cheltenham hotspots
1)restoration
2)gas
3)american theme club,above wetherspoons
4)main street - up stairs/live groups(yourneverwalkalone)all club singing.
5)the alleyway - behind laddies/upstairs
6)aussie type walkabout pub near mountains/cinema
7)ladies college/remember rag week for the old boys

does anyone remember chicagos till about 2003, i think its weatherspoons now, had many a great night in there during teh festival

used to like time/buskers used to get strippers upstairs

also the office, what just outside towm, comfy chairs upstairs

also niche i remember in town you walked upstairs to, what used to be open all night

Must have been early 90's, Big Mac tipped Another Coral to win the Gold Cup but it was a non-runner I think.

The stunnas were out in force and when Gas was winding down, it was across the road and back to the St James' Hotel through the back door, in the days when Trev made it a proper boozer.
