Only problem Fidway is you have to get 4 winners!  Only joking, best of luck!  Here's my speculative punt:-
Arkle - Get Me Out Of Here
Champion Hurdle - Peddlers Cross
Queen Mother - Sizing Europe
Gold Cup - Forpadydeplasterer

If that one comes in I'll pick you up in my lear jet!
Report rogerthebutler September 11, 2010 8:38 PM BST
Has anyone ever had one of these come off?

Every year I read threads like this and to most selections I'll generally go 'could be you know' then immediately forget about them.

After-time away, you heroes!

Report McK30wn September 14, 2010 8:36 AM BST
who are they?? mullins just stated last week that they are eying the mares or else i would not put it up as an antepost...

Willie Mullins is eyeing a David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle hat-trick with Quevega ahead of the new National Hunt campaign.

The six-year-old landed the Grade Two contest in devastating fashion once again last season before beating the boys over three miles at Punchestown.

There have been plenty of calls for Quevega to test her mettle in either the Champion Hurdle or the World Hurdle at Cheltenham next year, but Mullins remains keen on keeping her against her own sex.

“She’s just been in a couple of days and has done well from her summer break,” Mullins If all goes well and she gets back to Cheltenham, you’d have to think at this stage of the year she’d be aiming for the mares’ race.

“It’s so far away but we’d definitely be aiming for Cheltenham and I don’t think she’ll have too many runs before that. We’ll see how she takes her training.”

bottling it
Report McK30wn September 14, 2010 10:58 AM BST
I personally think its more down to ruby's call. HE knows both inside out, so if he were to say to mullins your not beating big bucks then i think would rather go mares, or if said to nicholls your not beating the mare etc...

Ruby in my view, holds the aces
Report dananders September 14, 2010 11:42 AM BST
ruby knows that bucksy is a completely different kettle of fish to  quevega
Report deakers September 15, 2010 1:00 AM BST
Surely it's all down to dosh for WM. An almost gauranteed £50k for Quevega winning the Mares or a whole heap of 'what if' in the Championship races.
