Knocking ew bet, given that usually guaranteed goodish ground and good chelt record, my namesake Forpadydeplasterer!

I'd be confident of a 2nd season chaser winning it this year, last years result smacked of a division on the downgrade. Given the uncertainty over the likely campaigns of this years Arkle protagonists, i'll put up French Opera, whose Cathcart run under a huge weight was the equal of anything achieved by any other novice imv.

Somersby if he goes for it.

Im with Desmond in that it did look like the guard was ready for a changing. Nicholls hardly bullish about Master Minded in press.

Big Zeb,good winner and likely to do it again imo.SE would be a big danger if he is trained for it,dont see any of last years QM horses beating BZ.

I'm also a French Opera fan. Great Cheltenham record, improving, always was highly thought of and doesn't have much to find on ratings with last year's novices. Last season's renewal wasn't one of the best and chance for a younger horse to come through.

as french opera, sizing europe, forpadydeplasterer and somersby could all go for races over further, and tataniano could skip it for aintree with master minded/woolcombe folly from the yard, and captain cee bee injury worries.... there must be great e/w value in something?!

Mad Max is a big price but they would have to put him back down in trip. It hasn't worked out over 20/21F. One mistake is the Arkle could have potentially cost him the race.
