So i deposit 250£ into the casino
accept a 100£ bonus
i am up to about 500
cannot withdraw anything more than my intiial deposit UNTIL
i reach the £4k required to get my winnings and the 100£ bonus, i dont mind not taking out the bonus, but i should surely be able to take out the money i have won from my initial stake! its an absolute joke!!!

well that is the conditions of accepting the Bonus.You can always decline the bonus then you can take out your winnings without the wagering requirement.

I totally agree its a scam.I've complained to trading standards;
I’ve told Betfair at least a couple of times not to contact me with so-called special offers. Only last week I complained when they bombarded me with so-called special offers in chat and you promised not to do so again. When I entered the casino yesterday I transfered £400 to bet on roulette. They then contacted me with a unsolicited message re a so-called bonus of £50. I put £200 on red and lost. This as far as I’m concerned included the bonus. I then went on and won on 2 more games taking my balance to £750. I then tried to transfer out this balance won with my money out of the casino and I livid to find I couldn’t. I complained to them by email then found they’d attributed all my profit made from my money ie £350 as bonus. I then tried to transfer out my original £400 money out of the casino and I was even more livid to do so would mean I lost all my winnings. I was angry as they had obviously scammed me and I wouldn’t be able to get my winnings so thought I may as well just gamble it, probably lose it but then at least be able to transfer out my original £400. I did just this and ended up with my original £400. I then transfered this out but to my further annoyance they then reduced this to £350. So they not only scammed me out of my winnings but took £50 of my original money. |

It's extraordinary to think why Betfair even introduced this so called "bonus" system. It seems extremely unpopular, complicated and misleading. I got caught in a similar fashion to the stories recanted below and on all future occasions where I was offered the bonus I declined (as I don't think it's a bonus at all, in fact, to the contrary as it ties up your inital capital until the fully exhaustive funding requirement is completed it's actually more of a liablity). Surely, a firm of the stature of Betfair, whom consider themselves on the cutting edge of online gambling and pride themselves on how honest and transparent their rules/processes are can produce a much better and clearer bonus system?

Yeh, got the same problem.
I bet nearly 5k in 7 days after getting a £50 bonus but apparently this still wasn't enough!!! So they took bonus and ALL my winnings! There is a hidden link in t&cs stating that with the roulette there is only a 20% weighting, so i would have had to have gambled nearer to 20k to even be able to sniff my winnings. A very underhand tactic from, what i thought, a reputable company. Needless to say, all my gambling will be done elsewhere now and all my associates be advised to steer well clear of betfair. |

They probably think most punters who would want to play RNG roulette are mugs and so it is probably wise to screw them over as quickly as possible before someone else parts them from their cash. Much like the bookies with a race every minute. You can't argue with it from a business point of view and when did any of these type have any morals.

I tried the Casino for the first time and deposited € 25,00 + I got the first time deposit bonus. I lost all the money. A little later I decided to give it another try. I deposited € 30 and got a € 15,00 deposit bonus. Now I played till I reached € 100,00. I wanted to withdraw my money which I invested. I was only able to withdraw € 30,00 and to my surprise the other € 70,00 was gone.No warning no nothing, just gone!! I deposited to money back to see if the money was still there but NO. Please Betfair explain to me where my money is gone? How can you win and be losing at the same time. Even if the substract the money from the first bonus , I shoud be able to withdraw my initial transfer? This cant be right! I love to gamble on sports and I believed this was an organisation to be trusted. Now there is so much money involed they probably can't be bothered and take as much as they can. |

I agree, total scam, I accepted a bonus of £150, I have wagered £30,000 on Blackjack and still no where near being avble to withdraw the bonus.
There should be a warning before accepting the bonus on certain games, that you will have to wager x amount before being able to withdraw. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY BONUSES FROM BETFAIR!!!! |

am i missing something here,all bookies that give a bonus on casino games all have a wagering requirement sometimes 20x or 50x youre original bonus,the guy who deposited £30 and got £15 bonus would have to bet that £15 x20 min. =£300 so say betting in multiples of £10 that is 30 hands of blackjack at £10 a time,always read the t&c before betting

I stupidly enough accepted at bonus from betfair and now Im worried because all my winnings since I accepted the bonus is now being kept in a bonus account which I fear I will lose if I don't meet the wager requirements.

Of course you will lose it if you try to withdraw. It is in the terms and conditions.
Let me just explain something. When you receive a bonus, you receive a pop up saying accept or decline. There is a link to the relevant terms of that bonus that you can click to read the t&c. So dont come now saying oh they steal, they rob...Its all there in the T&Cs |

Don't tell me what I can or can't do. Just because its in the T&C does not mean its right. Keeping all your winnings which will be lost because the wagering commitments are impossible to meet is a scam. I have no problem losing a bonus but also taking money which I won is a disgrace.
