Has anyone had that bonus paid from saturday night?

I deposited and got some bonuses then they were taken away.

Customer Services say that the issue has been escalated to Casino Management for a decision.

I guess some people must have tried to take too much money?

same happened to me, I made a lot of money on saturday because of good bonus offer. Cashed out, the money was in my bank account yesterday and today they debited everything. i didn´t think this was even possible. They paid me and then they take it back without saying anything? omg what´s happening with this world? Betfair and my bank are in serious problems, I will complain everywhere and take legal actions against them, just do the same. Many people got stunned with this, they just closed every account wich had the bonus they said they offered! betfair = scum

From SBR : They stole money from maybe hundreds of accounts. Betfair said in an email they temporarily suspended 240 accounts (but I think its probably more).

The theft is enormous. They even try to reclaim money from people who had successfully withdrawn after the promotion.

Quote from betfair email:

Quote:
As a result of our investigation, and in light of our finding that you have acted in contravention of Betfair Casino’s Standard Terms and Conditions, we have debited your account with a sum equivalent to the bonus funds and winnings associated with the ‘Happy Hour’ promotion in which you participated. Your account has been re-activated and is now available for you to use.

As your Betfair account held insufficient funds to accommodate such a debit, your account will now show a negative balance. Please fund your account with the negative balance amount of -£XXX at the first opportunity. Failure to do so by 26 November 2010, may result in us taking the appropriate action to recover this sum from you.

Whilst we are aware that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, we do now consider this matter closed, and shall not enter into any further correspondence in connection with it.

they can bluster all they like, but as gambling debts are not enforceable by law, just sit tight and ignore their threats.  They will eventually have to write it off.
