it's great Saunders has finally got the fight but he is just going to be another notch on Canelo's bedpost.

I think Saunders had a much better chance a few years back at middleweight. he's not as good as a super middleweight, more static

trying to get away with an 18ft ring was crazy. they already know the judges will give it to them so not sure what the reason behind that was unless they fear they'll look bad in a fair contest.
he's lost before and arguably lost once if not twice to an aging golovkin as well a few very close fights against very mediocre opposition. saunders' lack of activity and fighting bums when he actually does fight will likely cost him dearly here. if saunders had been fighting for the last few years i would be backing him - even now i think he should be winning at least 5 or 6 rounds but needs to win all 12 to get a draw this weekend. zero chance he knocks canelo out either. can definitely see his price shorten in running maybe even to odds on - that will be the time to lay him. think my only bet on this fight will be for it to go the distance. |

I agree with Senyatta - and have backed the 'Goes the distance'. And it might still represent value at Evs(still bits around).
There's an argument that a standout price of 2/1 for a Canelo decision is extraordinarily good value(it's true, it's 2/1 with one book!!). |
