De gale can seriously bang
![]() |

By:
seen millions better 1-6 shots so wouldn't touch it to b honest but all the best.

By:
Looks like no interest on the forum, most people lost their bankroll on klitschicko
By:
Are u on 7/2 stoppage then or 1/6 outright ?
But seems flaky would rather go TKO I don't think Degale has such one punch power , but with his combinations he can usually land the odd flush punch they don't see coming. Would expect a similar ending as the Froch fight with Bute getting smashed up against the ropes. |
By:
I see now you are on Degale to win rounds 1 to 6 @7/2 , not 1/6 outright.
Stoppage is 2.12 |
By:
yea sorry didn't make that clear i meant rounds 1-6 at 7/2. I think de gale has very solid power, i really didn't before but his last few fights that has really shown up for me. Thats how i see it tone and luckily degale says in his interview that but cant handle the pressure and is awful with his back to the ropes so thats what he'll do put it on him.
By:
any idea when coverage starts?
By:
It's not a bad bet though often Degale is not in a hurry imo

think its really good value, think if bute gets thru 6 he'll hear the final bell as degale has been known to take his foot of pedal, managed too get some 4-1 enhanced , think 12-1 r1-3 is worth a play too. Last few fights he's been more active earlier, when he was on c5 he was lazy and looked awful no power nothing. The main fact is tho that he judging by the interview knows as we all do is but is shot and he hates pressure , so just follow frocks game plan go pressure him and he'll wilt. He's thought 4 rounds in nearly 2 years i believe, changed weight classes and basically is scarred for life following the froch fight.

see a link says programme starts at 2 am

Showtime broadcast starts at 11:00 est, 4:00am uk time. Main events usually last on and Chilemba/Alvarez fight should be on the broadcast. Time slot is 2.5 hours so guessing fight won't start till 12-12:30 est.
By:
want to back chilemba but he's far too easy to rob
By:
Small bet on Chilemba 2.35 for me but yes got the style that appears to make it difficult for him in this situation.
Alvarez has got some skills too, but sort of Canelo'esque as not a good fluid mover and can suffer from Klitschko like lack of activity. Shame because he has some very excellent punch mechanics to go along with a sharp jab. Bit stiff though and can be outboxed by a guy like Chilemba imo. |
By:
still cant get over the chilemba robberies vs bellew cost me a packet... think alvarez is beatable, his last fight showed up a lot. This fight just seems to be confusing as high risk for low reward vs chilemba...
By:
Chilemba has a good ranking and as we agree has a style that can be prone to giving a hometown decision. I think Alvarez promoters know he isn't world class but still manipulate a good pay day if they carefully pick his opponents.
I think its a pretty good matchmaking job. |

opinion on de gale fight?
By:
just got a tenner from the free spins offer so had that on round 7 to cover my stake lol
By:
I don't know, first though is boring UD win for Degale. Degale showed last fight he's not a killer in there, his output in the second half of the fight against Dirrell was terrible, almost gave it away. Not sure what Bute has left, was gunshy against Pascal until the last couple rounds. Probable last hurrah for him so he may open up at some point but hard to break the mold at this stage of his career.
By:
Just seen winner of chilemba fight will fight stevenson so can def smell some home cooking there.... Agree reg degale out put vs dirrell in second half of fight hence why in my opinion id much rather play R1-6 at around 7-2 then the 11-10 stoppage as i believe if bute gets past 6 he'll get to the bell. Think and hope de gale sticks to his word and puts it on him early. Just re watched butes come back fight and i dont think he has much left in regards to taking a punch.
By:
That fight vs pascal was awful, bute looked scared and seemed to me rascal had to just throw a few flurries and it'd be over but he refused to do so, the that crazy r12 when he just stood in the corner and almost tried to get himself stopped lol

amir imam u next quite a decent prospect
By:
Imam extremely talented, don't see him losing anytime soon.
By:
yea, what you think of spence? He seems to be the top prospect on most peoples minds..
By:
That Pascal fight was almost two years ago now as well. Hard to know what version of Bute is left. New trainers seem to be desperately trying to make him more aggressive/meaner but probably in vain. Remember watching his last fight and wasn't too impressed with him and didn't notice anything obvious in terms of more aggressiveness.
I don't think Spence is an A+ fighter, sure he will be a world champ though. Improved version of Andre Dirrell. But still doesn't have the wheels or hand speed to become a lb for lob guy. |

By:
fury 5-1 sports personality of year tempting
By:
exactly, i really can see de gale just wrecking him, walking straight through him and at that kind of price no brainer for me. Think if Bute is hurt its over and he'll just wilt. He's messed around with weight classes too, not a gd thing for an older fighter
By:
Need to see spence against a real fighter but lot of people want to see him with big names already, need to watch him a bit more as havent seen all his fights... Think i could be a world champ nowadays lol
By:
DeGale does usually start fast and his comments suggest he might do the same. But hard to know as he seems to be entering Carl Froch type levels of delusion. Saying he'll smash him in 6 or maybe 3 rounds probably more bravado than actually strategy.
Bute seems like a decent man and hard worker, wouldn't mind him going out in a respectable fashion. If he is to go out at all. |
By:
WOW just seen some imam highlights on showtime, he has some scary KOs already... Seen he got put down tho? Is his chin a worry? Yea he does seem a decent bloke... Still part of my Fav youtube clip ... the GOOOMMMM against GGG in the amateurs!
