Perez 5/4 and Perez Decision 11/5 look massive to me

Re-watched the original and still bemused about the uproar over the decision. Very close fight, only really the second round where Crolla buzzed Perez and maybe the last couple rounds where I thought Perez did enough (negated by low blow deductions in both rounds) were clear rounds. It was very drawish in the end, despite the howling of the commentators and no surprise the crowd/promoter. Crolla really should be thankful he's getting another chance, must fighters are not given another opportunity.
Now given the narrative, false as it may be (imo), Perez is really up against it. From a scoring standpoint anything close will be given to Crolla, and watching the action in the first fight he is going to have to be more aggressive. |

When watching the first fight I remember thinking Perez was the far superior fighter and was just nullified by Crolla for most of the fight. I fully anticipate tonight being like a cat playing with a mouse
