I agree with Over's - they were smart with his last few fights making them at catchweight as Cotto is not a natural middleweight. Though this too is at a catchweight of 155lbs, Canelo will not struggle to make the weight unlike Geale and will be a different proposition. For what it's worth, allowing catchweight's for world titles are a joke, if the middleweight title is on the line then it should be at the defined weight limit of 160 lbs. Drying out to make weight is tough enough for fighters as it is.

w/o going into huge detail cottons revival has been on hand picked opponents, he's been hurt by much smaller men. Fully expect alvarez to hurt cotto make him treat as he does when hurt and stop him

Going to say don't trust Cotto's punch resistance. He will try to run/box his way to a points decision but at some point Cinnamon will land something that will hurt Cotto.
Worry about Cinnamon's stamina though, Cotto does have him beat there. Still backing the Mexican to win via stoppage at over 3's. |
