Pacquiao win.
Report Only-the-Brave May 1, 2015 9:49 PM BST
No brainer - back Mayweather.  Hopefully more public money pours in on Pac tomorrow and we get an even bigger price.

Pac is the smallest fighter Floyd has fought in years.  5 inch reach advantage will be huge - how is Manny going to close the range? Usually does this by trying to jump in, and if he does he'll eat counters all night long.
Report Eeternaloptimist May 2, 2015 12:14 AM BST
Pretty much how I see it. If enough sentimental money does come for Manny I'll definitely back Mayweather.
Report Platini May 2, 2015 11:47 AM BST
Is nobody worried about a stitch-up ?  An awful lot of money will be available for a re-match.
Report wooky May 2, 2015 12:51 PM BST
they are getting nearly 200 mill each for this...don't think they would care about making more money from a rematch

Any chance of a k.o. .?
Report Shrewd_dude May 2, 2015 2:17 PM BST
Backed Pacman at 14/5 and 11/4 when announced. Waiting to see odds at about midnight to 2am before deciding who to have profit on when lay off

Mayweather on points is by far the most likely outcome and at 2.28 represents very good value in my opinion.

^^^ agree

a lot of people say that but for me that seems like the least likely outcome of the fightConfused Floyd is not known to be a very fast starter as he was traling on the scorecards in quite a few of his fights after the first six rounds or so, but he always found a way back...Manny is another animal, unlike anyone he has ever fought so dont expect him to back down halfway through the fight.

That being said, with his reckless and agressive apporach, Manny is likely to be caught off-guard numerous times and he will definitely have a few lapses in concentration - here is Floyd's best chance to counterpunch him and knock him out with a combination if he doesnt get caught with one beforehand.

Fights like this are not meant to go to the scorecards i feel, we just have to see something sensational and unpredictable with a few plot twists and i really believe we will see something spectacular.

^^^^ you sure.

Mayweather the smarter fighter, but Pacquiao is fast and could cause him trouble especially if catching him off guard early on. But Mayweather the smarter fighter. And whatever the result, no surprise for a multi-million £    rematch. Both fighters could get more for a rematch than they would earn in any other contest. And at their age how many more fights have either of them got left.

Cannot see Floyd going anywhere near Pacman againin my opinion if he gets the win.
Report Money Tree cost me thousands!! May 2, 2015 6:46 PM BST
You fools.

Paq can't win.
Report bardo May 2, 2015 9:45 PM BST
of course Pacman can win

all it takes is a single punch

I would agree, except with Money-mad Mayweather it's all about the dosh !  There's a pic of him on social media lying in bed with piles and piles and piles of dollars all over the bed. A very modest image !  He's money-mad, and he claims he has just one more fight in him after this one, but a rematch would earn him more than any other fight.

Best chance Pacquiao has got if he can surprise him in the first few rounds, and yeah all it takes is a single punch, but Floyd is very smart and has the defensive skill to work him out.  Should still be a very interesting fight, but I feel this would have been a better fight 5 years ago !  Floyd the smarter fighter.

the draw had recieved a bit of cash, it was 20/1 plus tother day...now 15/1 which seems very skinny cnsdiering they nt that common ?

personally i dont think anyone knows what will happen until manny tags FM,he hasnt looked in love with game for a wee while and may notblows ccos he wi;ll take a few early doors
Report orderoutofchaos May 2, 2015 11:45 PM BST
im on manny i have my reasons if manny wins there will be a rematch but if floyd wins nobody will want to see a rematch. 80% of all big money bets have been on pacman which is a bit strange, and also mayweather has only ever faced 3 southpaws in his whole career and he struggled in all of them he still won obviously but floyd struggled. His philly shell defense doesnt work against left handed fighters he has to use a standard guard in this fight so will be interesting.
Report cueno May 3, 2015 1:42 AM BST
I cant see how manny pac can win this fight. Look at his opponents since losing by ko to jmm. Even when he took the jmm fight everything was in mannys favour for a ko win, age, & jmm not being given a catchweight.Team manny desperatly wanted  a ko win by manny in that fight. Since then he hasnt fought a guy with half decent power at welterweight. Rios had decent power at light weight but was nothing special at light welterweight & was just a punching back for manny at welterweight. Now manny couldnt miss with any shots yet he couldnt stop rios. Rioos also hurt manny in that fight i think the worst was in rd 5. Then bradley, if bradley had fought the whole fight like the firt fight he would have won, but after a few rounds was looking for 1 big punch, stupid. Especially as he isnt a big puncher. Then we have algieri, well what a joke & a mismatch that fight was. Now he is facing the best welterweight & best light middleweight in the world. Im sorry if you think manny will win this you dont know boxing.
Yes he has a punchers chance but floyd is no mug, hes never taken a count in any of his 47 fights.
Its a floyd win & manybe by ko, but almost certainly a floyd win.
