no chance he gets a decision - only value is to take the KO surely.

Taking both outsiders myself for interest. A lot of upside in Crawford with the hometown fight, and reach/size advantage. However if Gamboa is anywhere near his best he wins easily. Never know with him though - up until now been a huge case of wasted talent and 'what if?'. Potential to be one of the most boring fights of the year - hopefully Gamboa is smart enough to realise that he will not get a fair shake with the judges and hence takes the fight to Crawford from the off. The Burns formline not looking as strong now either after yesterday.
Korobov is another who just seems to have failed to make that step despite having the talent. Not getting any younger and Uzcategui can bang. Taken both outsiders therefore outright win and also both by KO. Can't say I'm overly confident though. |

are betfair going to have in running on this? be a joke but not altogether unexpected if they don't, currently suspended....must be at least an hour away

back up now, nothing on the main undercard though
|

that undercard fight was awful - typical korobov fight. Hopefully the judges in the main event call it down the middle.

How's the fight started?

gamboa's handspeed is ridiculous. Gamboa won all 3 imo, worst case 2 of 3. No doubt the judges will have all 3 to the hometown fighter though.

Cheers mate

gamboa down and hurt that round! Just about survives. No idea why he went away from the game plan but it cost him there.

B astard

gamboa caught on the counter again. Needs a KO now you'd think.

crawford wins by KO! Great fight. Size was defo a major difference in the end.

burns got well lucky. if crawford had let go like he did 2nite burns wud hav swallowed his dodgy jaw
|
|
By:
135 not for gamboa - he's too small. Conversely Crawford going to move up and is big at the weight. Size was a huge factor there - still, nice one for the CV for Crawford.

crawford is impressive...kamikaze tactics at times from Gamboa but fair play he was brave to launch them attacks when he was coming off worse every time. Really liking the look of Crawford, credit to Burns for going 12 with him as a shot fighter really, Burns stock at an all time low now but you don't hang in with a fighter like that if you haven't got something.
Be interesting to see Crawford at 140, some great fights to be made |

Well said alabaster. Burns definitely has something. Going 12 rds with Crawford is an achievement. Burns was poor on Friday for some reason. Well belwo his best

Think he is totally shot now mate, hope he hangs em up. Looks afraid to get hit don't want to see any more of that covering up as soon as he takes a shot. He's had a good career, probably massively over achieved but its just not there any more.
