Burns has a confirmed fractured jaw. First of all I think he lost a CLOSE decision Beltran winning with 1pt even with the knockdown. Ricky is one tough fighter and won't be feeling like a world champion. Needs a break,come back refreshed and he will give Beltran a rematch in America, he will win the rematch and without billy nelson, watch this space

Totally agree, burns never won 115-113. But Beltran couldn't finish off a fighter he knocked down and with a broken jaw. Done the right thing boxing in the middle of the ring and holding on the ropes, couldn't understand that watching the fight but makes sense with a broken jaw. Wouldnt get away with that anywhere else,surely would have been docked at least 2pts. Ricky needs to fight this guy again.

He defo didnt break his jaw in the 2nd. Look for the lengthly conversation in between rounds 5 and 6 I think with Nelson there isnt a broken jaw there happened around the 10th. And just cos Beltran didnt KO Ricky shouldnt stop him winning wide and being champ. A complete robbery of a man's living took place last night

All burns did was run run run like the ginger bread man.
I actually scored the fight 120-107. And I gave the the 1st round even. Nothing to burns after that, nothin at foo kin all. How can u win rounds by fighting like that. The guy have been disqualified 5 times over the amount of holding he done |

Very good point about the constant holding Carlos. Beltran even said after "If he'd of been in America he would of had two points off for holding. He he didnt even get a warning"

LOL. It s coming with age I think. Very unusual situation for me during the week people were openly matching the draw as high as 100!!! Would of loved to of been on at that. Didnt have a strong view on the fight but thought both prices were way over the top.

Ino uv been around the game a long time.
But 115-112 dnt make sence. At least in Germany they took 5 points of Miranda for some dirty work. So at least the scoring is justified. This was like insane. U run, u hold, u get battered, u run to the ropes. Since round 1, Beltran never once got caught with a punch that hurt him. Not once. The man runs and holds like a both hardcore for about 7 rounds and that's all he has to do. I rate burns I really do. His got bottle, determination and mentally strong but this guy is just clear pure sh1t. His only ever beaten 1 guy in Kevin Mitchell. And he beat Mitchell while the guy was a drug addict. Simple. I mean Mitchell only ever trained for 1 fight in his whole pro career and that was against murry, reason being he got so much stick for the last ideas fight. Totally outclassed in last 2 fights. Failed to win a round against the puto rican guy until he broke his hand. And for me won 000000 rounds here. Possibly the 1st on work rate. Landed no clean hurtful punches the entire fight. Maybe a few quality shots early on but after round 3 landed 0 hurtful punches. It was like khan v that Mexican guy. But khan won the 1st 4 rounds. Was there that night and he got booed out of the arena did khan |

I am so glad u mentioned the broken jaw thing.
The way they said it was broken in round 2. Lol. Wen he got knocked down in round 8 he was opening his mouth like he wanted to give broner a bj. But let's not forget his jaw was broken, just like Abrahams, just like Ali (both men couldn't eat for 4 months after the fight but burns was chatting ok straight after the fight. Reminds of Audleys broken jaw v that taxi driver. Lololol. |
