wouldve been amazing if sky did a 24/7 programme like they do in usa for this fight
By:
I don't get why you'd do absolutely nothing. Their biggest fight in years, and the best we get is a round table of people stroking their own ego's?
By:
Johnny Nelson's been in both camps during ringside over the last few weeks. If you've got Sky Go you can get them on demand.
By:
Thank you Duke.
By:
Oh there is a build up programme every single day of the week this week!
By:
Who's paying for it?
Is it £15 or £20? Cant find details anywhere. |
By:
£15 and I will be.

I'll be in the Sky Box for this one overlooking Ringside. I think both are just past their peak but as evenly matched fighters should be a good scrap again.
Looks a good supporting card too. |
By:
This fight could be one of the best ever seen.

Yeah cant wait for this saturday 02 nice arena

enjoy and gl....

I've watched the first fight again after hearing so much hype from Sky about how great it was (3 years is a long time after all). Am I the only one that thought it was a decent scrap but certainly not a classic? 2 or 3 action packed rounds but the first half of the fight saw Froch not throwing enough punches and Kessler dominated the middle of the ring
By:
why is froch such a big fav in the betting? what am i missing as i think its a 50/50 fight. kessler would have demolished bute surely it cant be that fight? i know this is in the uk but still seems too big a difference in the odds
By:
I dont think Kessler is the same animal as last time, Froch at home if it goes to the cards. Froch 8-13 outright & KO 10-3 I've played
By:
I'd be worried about Kessler's lack of activity. Only boxed 13 rounds since the last fight 3 years ago
By:
exactly hibee
By:
i was thinking along that line sj i can see froch going after him early testing him. Get the feeling froch thinks hes not the same fighter either, he was badly knocked down by green early. The atmosphere is going to be massive and can see froch like a rabbid dog going after him.
By:
Kessler's got stuff to prove after the eye injury and fights against only Magee and Green recently. Froch's career arch has been much better since their first fight with him beating Abraham, Bute, ect......Im not so sure Carl's 'come on' as much as its been made out to be though.............but i cant imagine Kessler stopping him and dont envisage Froch losing on points at home either so i cant get with Kessler to be honest.
Fight not to go distance at 11/8 is interesting. Its bound to be a slugfest at some point and although both guys are tough, their age is getting against them........really fancy one of them to suffer a first proper early distance defeat here. |
By:
froch inside the distance here too. Might play r1-r6 too, wouldn't be all that surprised if Froch blows him away early.
By:
seems that were all thinking same

anybody think Chilemba to stop Bellew at 10/1 is worth a bet? Fair enough Chilemba doesn't exactly look like one to rely on, seems to have a bit of a strange temperament, but 10s looks a big price to me. Think Bellew is in a tricky position with this fight, the pressure is on to put in an impressive performance but it's obvious he's not going to be able to outbox chilemba so he's going to have to commit and take some chances..something he's been loathe to do since Ovil dropped him. Chilemba was flued up for the first fight and I still think he was a bit intimidated by Bellew's crazyman act...at full health and now he knows he can take Tony's shots I think there's every chance he presses home his advantages and takes this one out of the judges hands.
By:
he aint a puncher at all alabaster but then again your betting at 10-1 so fair enough. Watched a fair bit of him and cant have him stopping him fancy him to box circles around him again! But as last time may get robbed COST ME A FORTUNE had nightmares about it lol
By:
no he's not a puncher per se, but pretty sure Tony felt chilemba's power a couple of times in the first fight. Sometimes it takes a dubious decision to bring out a bit of killer instinct and I've long been of the opinion that Tony is drained at the weight. If Isaac starts where he left off in the latter half of the last fight then Bellew is going to find himself with a mountain to climb and dwindling energy by the halfway mark. Can see him getting wild and leaving himself wide open. It's probably more of a hunch than a logical view but I'd certainly rather back the Chilemba stoppage at 10s than the Bellew stoppage @3s.
By:
i wudnt touch bellew on the tsoppage they tried to market him as a big puncher but he aint. One doubt in my mind bellew wasted a lot early last time i wonder if he'll fight a more intelligent fight this time.. probolem being that may be his only chance as chilemba ten times the boxer he is just dont no if i can take being done again on the score cards after seeing chilemba outbox him all nite again

By:
id be very surprised if Froch v Kessler goes the distance this time round
By:
Why is it whenever I want to back a British boxer, he acts like a plank or says something that turns me against him.
By:
watching the weigh in live, both in fantstic shape. More so froch.
can't wait. |
By:
fantastic
By:
Hearn is a very good salesman, a rematch of a borefest, Groves against some unknown Argie and what I think will be a pretty one-sided main event with Froch either winning a UD or Kessler quitting on his stool late on.
I did have tickets for this but the promised loaded undercard never materialised so I cashed them in. |
By:
Was that the "Best of Sauderland V the best of Matchroom undercard"?
![]() |
By:
undercard aint great but when half the crowd doesn't care either way it must be a bit of a dilemma for promoters. I remember barely anyone watched Frampton on the Bute undercard, some pisshead barged past me on his way to the bar muttering "it's like watching a pair of kids fight in the playground"
![]() I'm gutted I'm not going tomorrow now, have a great night all who are going. |
By:
Cheers ACD
By:
Just taken 11/2 on Kessler by KO TKO or disqualification.
Just watched the first fight and Froch was saved by the bell on one occasion when Kessler looked like finishing him off. Froch has been a knockout waiting to happen for a while now and I think tomorrow is the night. |
By:
frochs chin is unreal, he rides punches so well , i can remember thinking against ward any second he cud get stopped but never happened. Think this could be over early froch is going to go after him
By:
Ive played fight not to go distance at 11/8. I envisage the same kind of fight as last time with it being pretty full on by the 6th round. These guys are 3 years down the line from that first fight and i think one of them gets stopped if its at the same pace and intensity as last time.
By:
think Froch by RTD @ 25/1 is worth a small punt too. Kessler going into this saying it's his last fight whatever happens...'might think what's the point taking more punishment if Froch starts really putting it on him.
By:
what time do you reckon the fight will start ?? 10 ish. Good luck with your bets, cheers.
